Hungarian-American violinist/violist, pedagogue, and orchestra conductor, Dr. Ferenc Cseszko joined the Renaissance Music Academy faculty in 2019, following 18 years as a full-time university professor (formerly Associate Professor of Violin/Viola at the University of Idaho, and Artist-in-Residence at the Universidad Juan N. Corpas in Bogotá, Colombia). As a soloist or chamber musician, Dr. Cseszko presented recitals and clinics in Austria (Bregenz), Croatia (Dubrovnik), Germany (Frankfurt, Munich and Giessen), Hungary (Budapest), Italy (Rome, Ancona), Serbia (Belgrade, Novi Sad and Subotica),
Switzerland (Sion), the United States (primarily in the Midwest and West), Canada (Vancouver, B.C.), Mexico (Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey) and Colombia (Bogotá). As an orchestra musician, he performed with over a dozen professional orchestras, including the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Spokane Symphony, Wichita Grand Opera (Kansas), Madison Symphony (Wisconsin), and the Budafoki Dohnányi Symphony Orchestra (Budapest, Hungary). Born in the former Yugoslavia to Hungarian parents, Dr. Cseszko received a Conservatory Diploma from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary, a Master of Music degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison
