Piano Lessons in Henderson, NV
Renaissance Music Academy offers private lessons for students of all ages and levels of experience.
Our curriculum prioritizes a solid foundation in technique and a deep understanding of music theory. In addition, we use an approach that encourages the use of imagery whilst playing, teaching our students to use music as a means of communicating and expressing themselves. The curriculum is then tailored to each individual’s musical goals and aspirations to ensure their time at Renaissance is most fulfilling.
The lesson structure at Renaissance Music Academy understands that success comes from frequent practice and immersion, so rather than having one short lesson a week, we require multiple one-hour lessons at the discretion of the instructor and allow students practice time on the premises.
Experienced Piano Instructors
The piano instructors at Renaissance Music Academy are highly experienced and knowledgeable about all aspects of music. They are professional musicians with formal conservatory training and ample performance experience.
Our instructors thrive on helping students succeed– preparing them for performances, competitions, exams, and scholarship applications, for example. We have seen all the different facets of life that music can enrich, and we love nothing more than being able to share that with our Renaissance Music Academy family.
Importance Of Piano Lessons
Learning how to play the piano is the most recommended means of introducing students to music. The piano is known to be a versatile instrument that can solidify an understanding of music theory and mold skills like ear training and rhythm, which are applicable to other instruments or types of music.
For students with a general interest in music and/or composition, we recommend starting with piano before branching off to other instruments. This makes for nearly seamless transitions and more enjoyable learning experiences.
